Alice Cooper and Brendan Rooney get Married

Battling Dublin traffic, everyone just made it in time to the church in Sandycove. Following a lovely ceremony, photographs were being taken on the grass when a horse and cart turned up, surprising Bren and Alice. The bride and groom traveled in style back to the Cooper's house while we enjoyed the short walk in the sunshine.
Drinks and hors d'œuvres in the garden gave everyone a chance to chat and the kids had a good run around. Dinner, speeches and dancing all took place in the marquee in the garden - a lovely and very personal setting. The food was superb, the speeches entertaining and moving and the disco great fun. Alice's Mum and Dad certainly laid on a great day.
It was very late when Niall and I left and the party was still going strong. We had a wonderful time and were delighted to have been invited. Thanks to the Rooneys and the Coopers.
