Antarctica, the People
As well as the friendly and knowlegeable staff and crew aboard the Grigoriy Mikheev, we shared our Antarctic journey with forty-four other passengers. Many nationalities were represented, although we were mainly European and predominantly Dutch. With a wide range of ages, backgrounds and professions, most passengers were well-travelled and enthusiastic about wildlife-watching. The company of so many interesting and like-minded people added enormously to the experience.
