Antarctica
Over Christmas of 2005 we took a ten day trip on the Grigoriy Mikheev from Ushuaia, Tierra del Fuego, to the South Shetland Islands and the Antarctic Peninsula. The main stops are shown on the map below (adapted with kind permission from one of Rolf Stange's maps) , with the outward part of the journey in green and the homeward leg in red. I've added a couple of extra links discussing the particulars of the photography, the people who were with us and some background to the trip in general.
